Elizabeth II turns 89 today which makes her the world's oldest reigning monarch ever. She has been sat on the throne for 62 years and counting!
As NBC News has reported, her birthday was commemorated with gun salutes at Windsor Castle outside London, Hyde Park and the Tower of London where she spent the day with the rest of the Royal Family.
Officially, her birthday has always been celebrated in June, but why waiting? The Queen never waits!
