NBC goes forward with 'The Bible' sequel

Hot Jesus is back! It looks like The Bible is making the jump from cable to network TV. NBC says that the deal is on and this sequel will be titled A.D.: Beyond the Bible and will pick up after Christ's death.
This kind of expensive programme is not very usual on a network tv these days. Talent shows and Keeping Up With The Kardashians kind of shows seems to fit better, The Bible, though, "comes with a massive built-in audience and a unique and powerful marketing machine.", says the Business Week.
